Nagpur Police’s Humanitarian Drive: Reclaiming Lives, Restoring Dignity

Explore Our Journey

About Mission Mukti

In the heart of every thriving city lies a profound responsibility—not merely to uphold law and order, but to extend compassion to those most vulnerable and voiceless. With this guiding principle, Nagpur City Police launched Mission Mukti—a focused, multi-agency initiative aimed at rescuing, rehabilitating, and restoring dignity to homeless and mentally ill individuals living on our streets.

Mission Mukti was conceived with a singular purpose: to make Nagpur a beggar-free and humane city through coordinated action and compassionate intervention. It reflects a vital shift in modern policing—from enforcement to engagement, from control to care.

"No one deserves to be forgotten, no matter how lost or broken they may appear."
