Phase 1 – Initial Outreach

Area: Imamwada Police Station jurisdiction. In this foundational phase, 23 individuals were successfully rescued. This massive effort involved seamless collaboration with key partner agencies including NMC, GMC, Mental Hospital, Women & Child Welfare, and Social Welfare Department. We meticulously followed our Standard Operating Procedure (SOP): IdentificationMedical AssessmentCategorizationRehabilitation.

Phase 2 – Targeted Intervention

Area: Focused intervention at Maharajbagh Garden. During this phase, 30 individuals were rescued. Of these, 12 were successfully transferred to rehabilitation centers for long-term care, while 18 received critical medical attention in hospitals. A truly notable moment was the peaceful disarming and support provided to a distressed individual found with a knife at Sitabuldi Station, showcasing our compassionate approach even in challenging situations.

Beyond Phases: Continuous Efforts

Mission Mukti's impact extends beyond planned phases, encompassing continuous, proactive efforts by the Nagpur Police and its partners.

Diverse Rescue Operations:

  • 23 individuals rescued suo moto by various police stations, demonstrating proactive policing.
  • 18 individuals identified and assisted specifically within the Ganeshpeth PS area, a targeted focus.
  • A significant number of 21 individuals rescued through joint efforts across 8 different police stations, highlighting inter-departmental synergy.
